No more lining up—just moving forward! The College of Psychology honored its students as they embarked on new chapters at the 8th Pinning and 2nd White Coat Ceremony. This milestone marked their transition from theory to practice, classrooms to clinics, and aspirations to achievements.
Held at Luxembourg Hall, the event kicked off with a processional, bringing together Psychology undergraduates, master’s students, and newly licensed board passers. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as students took their first steps toward professional practice.
The program featured a warm welcome and inspiring opening remarks before the highlight of the event—the imposition of pins and the prestigious white coat ceremony. These symbolic gestures officially inducted students into the next phase of their careers. Testimonials followed from third- and fourth-year BS Psychology students and MA Psychology students, each reflecting on their journeys and their commitment to the field.
A powerful pledge of commitment underscored the students’ readiness to serve, both in mind and heart. Registered Psychometricians and Psychologists were also recognized with Certificates of Recognition, celebrating their achievements while giving them a moment to share their stories.
Beyond the formalities, the event was a celebration of passion and perseverance. Encouraging words flowed, awards were handed out, and milestones were embraced. As these future psychologists step into their new roles, the ceremony’s theme, “Empowering Minds, Embracing Future,” serves as a reminder of their mission—to support and uplift the mental well-being of those in need.
With the Psych Monarch Oath guiding their path, these professionals are ready to make an impact in the world of Psychology—one mind at a time.
