Southville International School and Colleges proudly celebrates the remarkable performance of its BS Accountancy students during the EXCEED 2025 Quiz Bee, hosted virtually by De La Salle University. This year’s competition, themed as a Virtual Amazing Race, challenged participants to showcase their accounting acumen in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding format.
Representing Southville with distinction were two dynamic teams: Kwenta-Kwenta Gang, composed of Fleaur Angelie Baldevia, Mariamar Cha, and Isaac Pascual, and EYNABEX, represented by Ethan Peter II Vicente, Loise Eve Lawagan, and Rochelle Molina. Their participation reflected not only technical skill but also teamwork, resilience, and a passion for excellence. The event provided a platform for students to apply their knowledge in real-time scenarios, reinforcing the value of experiential learning in the field of accountancy.
“This competition highlights the strength of our academic foundation and the readiness of our students to engage with industry-level challenges,” shared Dr. Victor Manabat, Dean of the College of Business. “We are proud of their performance and the way they represented Southville with integrity and brilliance.”
Mr. Jason Bugatan, BS Accountancy point person, added, “Our students continue to raise the bar. Their dedication and enthusiasm are a testament to the vibrant spirit of JPIA-Southville.”
Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding efforts. May this experience fuel even greater achievements in your academic and professional journeys.
