Southville International School and Colleges proudly unveils the newly renovated 5th floor of its Premier College of Psychology—a dynamic, reimagined space designed to foster exploration, connection, and inspired learning. More than just an architectural update, this milestone reflects the college’s enduring commitment to cultivating environments where academic excellence and holistic development flourish.
The grand opening began with a heartfelt Thanksgiving mass, setting a reflective and welcoming tone for all who will learn and grow within its newly adorned halls. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and official blessing followed, marking the space open for students and faculty to explore and enjoy.
Community spirit took center stage as guests shared in a joyful potluck, fueling both conversations and camaraderie. The day continued with the semestral Grand Merientoring session themed “Rebuilding spaces and renewing bonds”—a poignant tribute to the sense of belonging and resilience that defines the Psychology community.
Capping off the celebration was the awarding of student participants from the 38th PAPJA National Convention. Recognized for their outstanding performances in Psy-Clips, Transcendance, Songwriting, the Inter-school Psychology Quiz Challenge, and Undergraduate Thesis categories, these students embody the brilliance and creativity Southville proudly nurtures.
“This revitalized space represents our shared growth, unity, and commitment to learning with heart,” said Dr. Ruel Cajili, Dean of the College of Psychology. “It is a physical reminder of the relationships we build and the transformative work we pursue together.”
Congratulations to everyone who made this milestone possible. With a renewed home for ideas, connection, and purpose, Southville’s Psychology community continues to soar.
