Sejong University Signs MOUs with Southville Institutions: A New Chapter in Global Academic Collaboration


Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) and Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) welcomed a distinguished delegation from Sejong University, one of Seoul’s top private universities, for a landmark MOU signing ceremony held on February 21, 2025.

The event marked the formalization of academic partnerships between Sejong University and two member schools of the Southville Global Education Network (SGEN), paving the way for collaborative initiatives in research, faculty exchange, and international education.

Representing Sejong University were Dr. Youn Young Ahn, Dean and Professor; Dr. Seul Ki Lee, Professor; Dr. Ji Hwan Yeon, Professor; and Dr. Young-joo Ahn, Professor. Their visit underscored Sejong’s commitment to expanding its global reach and fostering meaningful academic ties in Southeast Asia.

From SGEN, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Jocelyn Tizon, President; Dr. Rolly Donato, Academic Director; Dr. Nancy De Guia, SISFU Executive Vice President; Mr. Daniel Steel, Director of Strategy and Partnerships; Dr. Rene Aligonero, Director of the International Linkages and Partnerships Office; and Ms. Aisha Castro, Admin Associate for Linkages.

The signing reflects a shared vision for transformative education, global citizenship, and academic excellence. With this partnership, students and faculty from both institutions can look forward to enriched learning experiences and expanded opportunities across borders.
