Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) continues to gain recognition on the regional and international stage, strengthening its position among leading private universities. In the 2025–2026 cycle, SISC was ranked 105th worldwide in the WURI Global Innovation Rankings and earned distinction in the AppliedHE Private University Rankings 2026, placing 31st in ASEAN (Top 26% in the ASEAN region out of 121 ranked universities) and No. 134 in All Asia (out of 234+ ranked universities). These achievements translate into strong national standing, with Southville securing a Top 5 placement nationwide in ASEAN and Top 10 nationwide in Asia, underscoring its growing reputation as one of the Philippines’ premier private institutions. Together, these recognitions highlight Southville’s commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and transformative education.

Beyond its national and ASEAN regional standing, Southville has emerged as a leader in graduate employability, a category that directly reflects the institution’s impact on student success. In both ASEAN and All Asia rankings, SISC achieved an extraordinary #2 position, outpacing hundreds of universities across the region. “The education, mentorship, and career guidance I received at Southville thoroughly prepared me for the professional world. I was able to secure employment shortly after graduation, and the skills I developed during my studies have been invaluable in adapting to the demands of my role. Southville not only equipped me with knowledge, but also instilled confidence and a sense of purpose that continues to guide me in my career,” shared a recent graduate. With 95% of graduates employed within six months, this recognition highlights how Southville’s programs and support continue to empower graduates to excel in competitive global markets.

Adding to these milestones, Southville proudly received CHED’s Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Award in December 2025, a national recognition that honors institutions for their outstanding contributions to Philippine higher education. This award affirms SISC’s role as a trailblazer in academic innovation, quality assurance, and student empowerment. It is a powerful validation of the institution’s vision to deliver world-class education while remaining deeply rooted in service to the nation.
In her message, Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, President of Southville International School and Colleges, shared: “These recognitions are not just accolades; they are a testament to the dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and partners who continue to embody Southville’s mission of producing lifelong learners and leaders. To be named among the Top 5 private universities in the Philippines, while also earning global recognition in WURI and AppliedHE, and receiving the CHED Icon Award, is proof that Southville is shaping futures and transforming communities. We will continue to rise, innovate, and inspire.”

WURI (World University Rankings for Innovation) and AppliedHE are international ranking systems that recognize higher education institutions for impact beyond traditional academic metrics. WURI focuses on innovation, real-world relevance, and societal contribution, highlighting universities that excel in creativity, entrepreneurship, ethical leadership, and solutions that respond to global and community needs. AppliedHE, on the other hand, provides independent benchmarking of private universities across Asia, assessing performance in areas such as teaching and learning, employability, internationalization, research, and institutional reputation. Together, these recognitions affirm Southville International School and Colleges’ commitment to transformative, future-ready education that contributes meaningfully to national development and the global academic community.
