Hon. André Peter C. Estanislao: A Diplomat Shaping Global Connections with Excellence

Hon. André Peter C. Estanislao is a distinguished Foreign Service Officer known for his exemplary leadership, global competence, and unwavering commitment to public service. He currently serves as Director for Cultural Exchanges and Acting Executive Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of Cultural Diplomacy, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the Philippines’ diplomatic engagement by leveraging culture as a powerful instrument of international relations.

Prior to his current appointments, Hon. Estanislao served as Chief of Staff to the Director-General for Operations of the ASEAN 2026 National Organizing Council, supporting key strategic regional initiatives aimed at strengthening the Philippines’ leadership and presence within Southeast Asia. Throughout his distinguished career at the DFA, he has held several critical roles, including Deputy Quality Management Representative, Special Assistant to the Undersecretary for Administration, Acting Passport and Consular Records Director, and Principal Assistant to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs. His diplomatic postings in San Francisco, Shanghai, and Paris further underscore his ability to represent the Philippines with professionalism and distinction across three major global cities.

Joining the Philippine Foreign Service in 2010, Hon. Estanislao was conferred the Gawad Mabini, Rank of Dakilang Kasugo (2012) — one of the highest honors bestowed upon Filipino diplomats — in recognition of his significant contributions to the modernization of the DFA’s consular records system. This prestigious award stands as a testament to his dedication, innovation, and lasting impact in strengthening the country’s diplomatic institutions.

An accomplished scholar, Hon. Estanislao graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College with a degree in Classical Studies and French. He also studied in Paris, Athens, and Canada, where he excelled in the International Baccalaureate Programme. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Philippine Christian University–Dasmariñas and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Southville International School and Colleges, graduating Meritissimus and becoming the first graduate school recipient of the SGEN Medal of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding academic achievement.

Before entering the Foreign Service, Hon. Estanislao made meaningful contributions to the academic community. He served Southville International School and Colleges as an IB Coordinator, Deputy Coordinator, and Visiting Lecturer, and later taught at the University of Perpetual Help while completing his clinical internship at the Mind Care Center. These experiences enriched his multidisciplinary foundation in education, psychology, and leadership.

Through his exemplary work in cultural diplomacy, public administration, and international relations, Hon. André Peter C.
