Corporate Social Responsibility- Southville For Others (SFO)

Southville For Others (SFO) is Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) leading community outreach program. It serves as a platform for students, faculty, and staff to actively participate in outreach programs that address various social, environmental, and economic challenges.

SFO embodies the principles of social responsibility by fostering empathy, volunteerism, and sustainable community development. Its initiatives range from disaster relief efforts and educational support to environmental sustainability projects and livelihood programs.

Southville For Others aims to respond to the development of social, educational, and environmental needs of adopted communities through educational and community outreach and professional enhancement programs.

SFO’s core work is divided into two major pillars: Community Outreach and Professional Outreach, reflecting its dual commitment to directly serving communities and fostering broader professional development.

Under the Community Outreach arm, several vital programs are implemented:

1. ASAT (Asian SEED Academy of Technology)

  • HOME (Harmony of Man and Environment) is the school’s flagship program in promoting environmental sustainability and care for the creation in our community. H.O.M.E. aims to raise awareness about environmental concerns and instil pro-environment behavior in students
    •

3. COPE – College (Community Partnership Engagement)

  • is an outreach arm of the college department with trifocal core strengths in teaching, research and extension (outreach) in response to the challenges and opportunities confronting the society in higher education.
