Kristine Torralba of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) High School Class of 2018 recently graduated cum laude from Texas A&M International University. Throughout her educational journey, Kristine exemplified the core values instilled in her by SISC, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a passion for success. 

“What I like best about Southville is that they helped me prepare for college in the United States through the 5C’s (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Creativity, and Commitment to Achieve),” said Kristine. These core values became her guiding principles in her journey to academic excellence and personal growth.

As a student of SISC’s INNOVE Homeschool program, Kristine had a unique educational experience. Despite her unconventional learning setup, she was still able to connect with her fellow classmates while adhering to high international standards. The exposure to diverse perspectives and cultures broadened her horizons and equipped her with the skills needed to navigate the real world.

During her time at Texas A&M International University, Kristine was also a member of the Women’s Golf Team. Her ability to balance academics and athletics showcased her commitment to discipline and collaboration. Her accomplishments bring honor not only to herself but also to the institution that laid the foundation for her success.

Graduating cum laude is a testament to Kristine’s unwavering dedication and hard work which serve as a shining example for future generations of SISC students. “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them,” Kristine concluded.
