BoA joins SISC’s 20th Anniversary Celebration



The dialogue with the Board of Advisers (BoA) and the blessing of its office was one of the highlights during the celebration of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) 20th Foundation Anniversary last September 15, 2010. The occasion was graced by no less than the distinguished members of the Board of Advisers who are respected leaders of various industries.
The Board of Advisers was formally launched last year with the goal to bridge the gap between the industry and the academe which is aligned with the school’s pursuit of academic excellence.
The Board of Advisers of each college division was well represented by the following: Hon. Edsel Custodio (Business Administration); Dr. Adelaida Bago, Dr. Melva Diamante and Dr. Albert Lupisan (Education); Dr. John Peter Abraham Ruero, Mr. Edgardo Marquez, Mr. Rolando Corpus and Mr. Peter Que (Information Technology); Ms. Lulu Pascual (Mass Communication and Media Arts); Dr. Geraldine Tria (Psychology); and, Mr. Paul So, Mr. Albert Villadolid, Mr. Ed Nuque and Mr. John Emsermann (College of Tourism).
Chief Executive Mentor, Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan, and Dr. Marl Ferenal, together with Dr. Violeta Lazaro, College Deans and Chairpersons warmly welcomed the distinguished guests. The successful event was capped with a visit to SISC’s Museum of the South showcasing the rich Filipino legacy.
