Empowered Communications: A Workshop on Business Communication



The Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) AB Communication students invited the seniors from CAA National High school to an outreach program entitled Empowered Communications: A Workshop on Business Communication.
The event, organized by the Development Communication class under Professor Marilou Gonzales had lectures on writing Resumes and Application Letters, Job Interview Etiquette, Basics of Power Dressing and Grooming and Call/Reception Inquiry. The organizers made sure that the topics would be able to help and guide the participants in the future.

On Traffic and Parking Concerns



The closure of private lots along Lima Street used for parking is placed about 80 cars. This seems to be one of the causes of traffic jam at certain hours of the day. Southville Management is working with the community leaders, Legacy Homes Association, Brgy. BF International, Traffic Management Group, BF Homes and OB Montessori management to solve the problem. Our local barangay has posted additional 4 traffic enforcers to assist all motorist during peak times to supplement our number of guards.

Southville Math Genius Wins National Karatedo



Gen Mark Tanno, an incoming Grade 10 Southville student, and a consistent winner of local and international Math competitions has proven once more his other giftedness after placing second in the recently held 2013 Philippine Union of Karate Kobudo (PUKKO) National Karatedo Championship in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Southville Earns Praise from WASC



Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) was visited by a team of six international educators last February 6 – 9, 2012 as part of the re-accreditation process for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, (WASC), U.S.A. WASC is one of the six regional accrediting associations in the United States that assure the delivery of quality education.

Southville Offers Sibling and Alumni Discounts



The Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) established a tuition discount for families with multiple siblings. The discount is applied to the third, fourth, and fifth sibling(s) in the order of birth. A 5% discount on tuition fee will be awarded to the third sibling in a family, a 10% discount to the fourth sibling, and a 20% discount to the fifth and succeeding siblings.

Battle of the Bands Rocks Southville



Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) hosted the first ever Battle of the Bands last December 1, 2011 at the Monarchs Gym of Luxembourg Campus. The competition aimed to highlight quality musical teen talent, gather students to support music and the arts, and promote active participation in school music programs.

Winning teen bands proved their music genius and walked away with cash prizes, certificates and trophies. [Read more]

The business plans submitted by the high school students of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) made it to the finals of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Convention organized by the University of the Philippines Entrepreneurs Circle last September 17, 2011.

Southville Chorale Aces Choir Competition



The SISC Chorale won first place in the recent “Clash of the Glee Clubs” held at SM Southmall for school choirs based in southern Metro Manila. The victory earned the members the privilege to represent SM Southmall in the finals of the nationwide search for the best show choir featuring other regional winners from various SM malls.
The 10-member chorale made their mark on centerstage by performing a mash-up of pop songs “Bongga Ka, Day,” and “Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko” with dance choreography. The group is now undergoing weekly rehearsals in preparation for the grand finals to be held

Southville Hosts the 11th Run of CMIP Investment Teaching Accreditation Program



Southville International School and Colleges is now hosting the 11th Run Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines (CMIP) Investment Teaching Accreditation Program (ITAP) on May 23-May 27, 2016 at the Achievers Core Training Farm in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The CMIP Investment Teaching Accreditation Program (ITAP) is a scholarship program for college instructors teaching Investments. In this program, the scholars go through a rigorous four-day live-in seminar-workshop wherein successful participants are conferred a CMIP Certificate of Accreditation for Teaching Investments, upon completion of the course.
