Intellectual Tournament Set

November 26 marks the largest scholarly competition among the Grades Six to High School IV students of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) as they compete in the upcoming 2nd Academic Olympiad.
Celebrating the theme “The catalyst of a socially responsible future,” students will get to participate in activities all aimed at showcasing their wits and talents and building up camaraderie and collaboration among them. The students will be grouped into six teams, namely, Laurels, Hearts, Stars, Pink, Green, and Purple. Contests include an essay writing competition, debate, spelling bee, tug-o-wits, extemporaneous speaking, video production, mural making, project runway, amathzing race, and the Science Challenge.

The two-day event, which will be concluded on November 27, Friday, is an integration of all the lessons discussed since the start of the academic year. Munich Campus will also hold its own Academic Olympiad for Grades Four to Five on December 2-3, 2009.
