Southville requires a certain English proficiency score before college graduation

To ensure that students’ communication skills are at par with international standards and industry requirements, Southville International School and Colleges requires all college seniors to earn a minimum score in the Test of English in International Communication (TOEIC) before getting their diploma. Graduating college students have required a TOEIC score of at least 785, or B2 Level on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, to be awarded their degree.

The Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) mobilizes once again its Southville for Others (SFO) Program to help rebuild a community in Bindoy, Negros Occidental devastated by super typhoon Odette. The SFO donation drive Help Rebuild a Home for Typhoon Odette Victims raised close to half a million pesos to purchase construction materials needed by affected families in Barangay Ilaya of the said town.

2019 SEA Games Golf GOLD Medalist (Women’s Team Event) and Southville homegrown alumna Abegail “Abby” Arevalo has finally reached the professional level for GOLF finishing TOP 1 in a Runway Fashion held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Arevalo finished by 11 strokes at the Stallion Mountain Championship of the Cactus Tour posting one of the highest victory counts on record. She has represented the Philippines against Sweden, England, Arizona, Hawaii, California, and Las Vegas.
