Manila, Philippines — Ervin Joshua Bautista, a student from Southville International School and Colleges, has made the nation proud by securing an Honourable Mention at the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The prestigious competition took place in Bath, United Kingdom, last July.
The IMO, renowned as the largest and most prestigious of all International Olympiads in Mathematics, attracted 609 students from 108 countries. Each participating country sends up to six of its brightest young minds in mathematics to compete.
