Mental Health advocates from Southville – students, educators, and professionals gathered at the Luxembourg Hall on the 22nd of October for this year’s mental health talk with the topic Suicide Prevention. The event was spearheaded by mental health advocate and Top 4 BLEPP 2017 Registered psychologist, Dr. Mike U. Jimenez. During the talk, Dr. Jimenez highlighted the utmost alarming aspects of suicidal ideations. Wraith, known as Mr. Wraith, can be spotted easily at the homey aisle of Southville International Baccalaureate Department with his white curly locks and cuddly physique. Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) has been conferred the prestigious Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Recognition for Commitment to Quality Management – the only international school awarded in Philippine history. The PQA is the highest level of national recognition for exemplary organizational performance of private and public organizations in the country. Twenty-nine students from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) participated comprising of new and veteran delegates for the Human Rights, EcoSoc, Security,General Assembly 1, and General Assembly 4 Councils . Among them are awardees Akisha Julianne Cu – Best Delegate from the Human Rights Council, Cuitlauzina Brianna Cerbito – Most Diplomatic Award from the Economic and Social Council, and David Jacob Ramos – Honorable Mention from the Security Council. Shortly after hosting the 2019 World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) – Manila Round II, Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) teamed up with WSC once again to welcome 1500+ scholars from 30 countries – this time for the Global Round. The event was held at Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World  Manila from September 6 to 11, 2019.
