SISC conforms to ISO 9001: 2008 standards for global competitiveness

Quality Education is Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) brand of service for 24 years now. The institution has engaged different certifying bodies to ensure that quality service is rendered to students, and that no child is left behind in learning. SISC has been an ISO 9001:2008 accredited institution for a decade now.

To ensure that the organization is sustaining its international standards, SISC had its ISO 3rd party surveillance audit last February 20, 2015. Top Management warmly welcomed the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Mr. Ramoncito Puyat, together with ISO 9001 Auditors Ms. Grace Balo Balo, Mr. John Faustorilla and Ms. Lily Catacutan (trainee), who examined the effectiveness of the quality management systems of the institution. Likewise, the audit team checked and determined if the organization complies with the defined quality system process, procedural requirement, results-based criteria, and evaluation.

During the opening meeting, Mr. Puyat presented the flow of the Audit Program and gave a few reminders to all the heads. The auditees for classroom observations (College and Basic Education) were identified, and concerns and clarifications were noted and considered. The audit proceeded with ease for all departments. During the closing meeting, the observations for improvement were classified and the notable zero nonconformity was specified.

Undoubtedly, the institution remains true to its commitment to excellence. The results of the audit reports showed that SISC has maintained its drive for continuous improvement of educational services befitting an institution that is globally competitive.
