Southville Officers Attend Red Cross Youth Induction Camp 2012



The Philippine Red Cross – Las Pinas Subchapter with the Red Cross Youth Advisers League recently conducted the 1st RCY (Red Cross Youth) Induction Camp inside the grounds of the Mary Immaculate Parish – Nature’s Church located in Moonwalk Village, Las Pinas City. Eighteen (18) Executive Officers and Committee Heads of the College Red Cross Youth (Southville Council) headed by Council president and Vice-president BS Nursing senior Ms. Eselle Ker and 1st year SPED student Ms. Samantha Ramirez respectively, participated in the overnight camp where they lead and took part in team building, skills building and camaraderie enhancing activities. Towards the end of Day 2, all council officers of RCY schools and colleges was inducted into office by Philippine Red Cross Chapter Administrator Mr. Recson De Leon and Red Cross Board of Director, Hon. Francis P. Villanueva. Created just over the summer of 2012, the College Red Cross Youth is the only internationally accredited organization in Southville International Schools and Colleges boasting of the biggest number of member-volunteers comprising of almost 10 percent of total college population.
