The Civil Service Commission Office in collaboration with the Regional Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners in Region 1 held the 20th Regional Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for Human Resource Management Practitioners with the theme “ASEAN Integration: Implications, Challenges and Issues to the Human Resource Practitioners” on April 21-23 at Club Balai Isabel, Talisay, Batangas.
The three-day event was a residential learning program that aspired to offer participants with a better perception of ASEAN Integration. It also provided HRM Practitioners with the information and skills mainly on their awareness from the effects of the country’s inclusion in the ASEAN Integration. The program also served as an opportunity for the officers and members to study and talk about issues and concerns very much affecting them especially on organization development and human resource management.
The Civil Service Commission invited Southville President, Dr. Marl V. Ferenal to be their Learning Service Provider on the subject The Implications, Issues and Challenges of the ASEAN Integration to the HR Practitioners on April 23. This was the fifth time Dr. Ferenal has been a resource speaker on the topic related to ASEAN Integration in this academic year, the previous have been in: the Annual HR Summit; the Manila Arch-Diocesan and Parochial Schools (MaPSA); the Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD); the Metrobank Group of Companies HR Organization; and the Advertizing Suppliers Association of the Philippines (ASAP).
