Parents and students welcomed the academic year 2020-2021 with the Southville Virtual Online Learning and Teaching (VOLT) program to their homes. Households, especially parents and guardians get the hang of overseeing the needs of students whilst co-teaching their children as they also work from home. Southville gears up for the #newnormal this summer and in the new academic year that’s fast approaching. These online programs are in line to secure continuous academic excellence while students stay at home safe, healthy, and mentally productive. The ONLINE SUMMER CLASSES are designed to enhance student competencies and mastery in Math, Languages, and Science. Further, Preschool and Learning Village classes aim to develop children’s creativity, focus, emotional quotient, and discipline among others. For College, there is a list of General Education and Professional subjects that will be offered. Students may also take special classes that are non-academic.
Gone are the days of passive learning when education was strictly teacher-centered and students heavily relied on pure lectures and direct instructions.
