Information Technology (IT) student, Bea Soriano Guevarra, is this year’s newly elected Director of Information Communication and International Linkages for Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS). In an interview, Guevarra humbly shared that most of her biggest life events happened by accident. The course IT was a plan B to her and the election for the JPCS Board of Officers happened on the day she was only supposed to submit the requirements needed. Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) thru its training center, Taylor Center for Professional Development held the 1st International Forum on Real-Life Applications for Artificial Intelligence Technology last August 23, 2018 with Dr. Florent Seichepine, Head of Research Facilities, Hamlyn Centre Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine as the international guest lecturer.
The forum highlightedpractical uses of Artificial Intelligence Technologies. It also underscored the current uses of AI in addressing challenges that the world experience by defining the right direction and out-comes of AI projects.
