Wanted: Philanthropists

“We cannot change the world all at once but we can touch one life to make it better.”

And thus Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) shares with the country its vision, through the SEED Academy, of providing free two-year college course to deserving and highly motivated students of the lower socio-economic bracket of the society.

Now on its 10th year, the SEED Academy is one of the many corporate social responsibility projects of SISC that has already helped numerous less fortunate students land decent jobs because of the unique training given to them through the institution’s specially-designed academic program. The students work in the office during the day and get to attend the class at night. This gives them the opportunity to immediately practice what they learn and, make them highly skilled and readily employable.

As of press time, the SEED Academy has attracted more and more applicants to the program and thus Southville calls on institutions who might want to partner with the school in the advocacy through student sponsorship. For Php 15,000.00, a company can help a hopeful student fulfil his dream. Interested companies may call 825-6374 loc 105 and look for Floribel Ferrer.
