Southville Champions Quality at the MAP CEO Academy

Southville proudly shared its Philippine Quality Award (PQA) journey at the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) CEO Academy Training held recently.

Represented by Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, SISC President, Southville highlighted its Southville Performance Excellence Model (SPEM) — a framework inspired by the Malcolm Baldrige model that drives innovation, continuous improvement, and stakeholder satisfaction.

From being granted Autonomous Status and earning the Philippine Quality Award (Level 3 – Recognition for Mastery in Quality Management), Investors in People (IIP) Gold, ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation, International Baccalaureate (IB) authorization, and Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) Level IV status, to launching Virtual Online Learning and Teaching (VOLT) and HyVOLT—recognized by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) as international best practices—Southville continues to prove that quality is not just compliance, but a culture of excellence.

Globally, Southville has been honored with the Asia Pacific Quality Organization’s Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) and recognized by the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) and the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards for its leadership in education and innovation. The institution also continues to excel in global rankings—placing #105 in the World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI), #1 in the Philippines for Teaching and Learning, and among the top 2% of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) universities under the AppliedHE Rankings.

Southville’s participation in the MAP CEO Academy reaffirms its commitment to quality education, leadership excellence, and national competitiveness — continuously innovating to produce achievers in life and leaders of society.
