Pearson HNC HND Qualifications are creating more global opportunities for students at Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) , and the Southville Global Education Network (SGEN). As demand for internationally recognized credentials and future-ready skills continues to grow, Southville and SISFU are expanding access to Pearson HNC HND Qualifications through a strengthened partnership with Pearson.

During their recent visit to London, Dr. Astrid De Leon, Director for Academic Affairs, together with Dr. Ruel Cajili and Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, President of Southville International School and Colleges, met with senior leaders at Pearson’s headquarters. The Southville delegation was warmly welcomed by Annabel Lawday, Strategic Lead for Stakeholder Engagement; Kieran Hawkins-Brickell, Strategic Lead for Product Management; Marianne Henden Clark, Lead Specialist for Product Management – Custom Designed BTEC Qualifications; and Isabel Glen, Advanced Specialist for Product Management (Higher Nationals).

The meeting focused on expanding Pearson HNC HND Qualifications and exploring new academic initiatives that will equip Southville, SISFU, and SGEN students with internationally recognized credentials, practical skills, and global career opportunities.

Expanding Pearson HNC and HND Qualifications

One of the key priorities discussed was the expansion of Pearson HNC HND Qualifications in Computing and Business across more Southville and SISFU programs. These internationally recognized qualifications provide students with industry-relevant knowledge, practical learning experiences, and clear progression pathways to universities worldwide.

By offering more Pearson HNC HND Qualifications, Southville and SISFU continue to strengthen their commitment to providing globally competitive education that meets international academic and industry standards.

Developing Future-Ready Skills

The meeting also explored the development of micro-credentials and leadership certification programs that complement Pearson HNC HND Qualifications. These flexible learning opportunities are designed to enhance employability, promote lifelong learning, and prepare students and professionals for success in an increasingly competitive global workforce.
