Season of Giving: Southville Opens Application for College Scholarships

“Education is our greatest opportunity to give an irrevocable gift to the next generation.” -Ernie Fletcher

Christmas is a time of giving and sharing happiness. Gifts such as food, clothing, and shelter are a few things that can bring joy to people. Another gift that will bring joy to others is the gift of education. Hence, Southville is now opening the application for The Outstanding Performing Students scholarship program, TOPS for short.

Scholarships are available to graduating grade 12 students from public and private schools for the upcoming Academic Year 2023-2024. The scholarship is for students looking into applying to Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) and South SEED-LPDH College.

Applicants are evaluated based on their academic performances and general student profiles. Extensive examinations will assess academic performances, while the evaluation of student profiles will use interviews. Applicants must exemplify Southville’s core values, the 5 Cs – Competence, Character, Commitment to Achieve, Collaboration, and Creativity.  More than 200 hundred TOPS Awardees have graduated from Southville to date who were given scholarships and are now competent professionals in their respective careers, ranging from technology, business, tourism, and healthcare.

Interested applicants must submit a copy of their Certificate of Ranking with GWA, Certificate of Good Moral Character, Photocopy of Grade 11 and 1st Quarter of Grade 12 Report Cards, Photocopy of Birth Certificate, and 2×2 pictures.  For the application form, visit https://www.southville.edu.ph/college-scholarship/.  Awardees may receive up to a 100% discount on tuition fees.
