AFSL invites campus leaders to upcoming Youth Leadership Congress



The Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) is inviting high school student leaders to the 2014 Youth Leadership Congress to be held on January 17-18at Southville International School and Colleges, Las Pinas. With the theme, “Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow”, the Congress is open to all Dep-Ed accredited high schools. Each school may send 5-10 delegates accompanied by 1 faculty member. The Congress aims to inspire, energize and empower participants to understand the dimensions of leadership for a young leader, develop behaviors through the application of the three dimensions of leadership: Self, People and Task Management and apply day to day techniques in managing people and teams, and acquire behaviors that can reduce conflicts to be able to work well with a group or team. The Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) is an organization for students with leadership potential that provides opportunities for members to develop leadership values and ethics, and prepares them for leadership roles in their community. The association is committed to become a leading alliance of student leaders recognized nationally and internationally for developing members to become outstanding in self-management, task management, people management, and service thus, fostering peace, harmony, and global kinship through social responsiveness.
