Blued Clothing Project Names SISC its First Champion

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) emerged as Champion in the first ever Blued Project, a thesis-inspired, inter-university design and marketing contest. The SISC team was composed of Mass Communication students Jahdiel Abigail Mae Gay, Clarissa Jean Torres, Monica Diaz, Nicollo Ramon Alessandro Lopez, Mary Camille Arce, Jaresa Felipe, and Bernard Lomibao. Their Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) plan, which re-branded Blued Clothing and focused on catering to the youth bracket, bested the teams of Lyceum of the Philippines University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, and University of Sto.Tomas.

“Our subjects in IMC, Public Relations and Advertising helped us a lot in planning and executing the campaign,” says Clarissa Torres, a senior Mass Communication student. She added that the team is thankful for the overwhelming support of the Southville community, evidenced by the number of online votes their design entries received in Facebook.

The SISC team was recognized during the culminating fashion show and awarding ceremonies held last March 24, 2011 at Market!Market!, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. They received cash prize, Blued premium items, and an exclusive business immersion with Blued. As the first winner of the pioneering project, their original fashion collection is set to be launched by Blued Clothing.
