The Philippine Board of Studies handpicked top students nationwide to compete in Malaysia early this year for the International Science Competition. One of the few students who made it was Southville’s consistent academic varsity and veteran contender, Robert Jeremiah Rivera. ICAS Recognizes Southville Excellence

Monarchs Bag Awards at the YALE UNIVERSITY WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP 2018

Eighteen student delegates, forty-three SILVER medals, sixty-six GOLD medals, one TROPHY… Monarchs showcased Southville’s intellectual supremacy during their debut competition at the World Scholar’s Cup – Tournament of Champions last November 16-21 at Yale University.

Cuitlauzina Brianna Cerbito, Akisha Julianne Cu, Renz Leobert del Rosario and Miguel Dominico Alzona made it to the list of Top 100 Champion Scholars awarded at the said competition where ALZONA and DEL ROSARIO were proclaimed Philippines’ Rank 1 and 2 respectively.

The fourth-year Multimedia Business students of Ms. Mylene Manalo held a special block screening of Ralph Breaks the Internet on November 21 at Robinsons Mall Cinema, Las Pinas. The said event not only served as a class activity but also as a fundraising activity for the colleges’ future events.

Moviegoers and Disney enthusiasts enjoyed a special screening of the said sequel. Upon entering the theatre room, they were given free goods from Universal Robina Corporation such as Cloud 9, chocolate drinks and bars, Piattos and Pasta Express.

King’s College London welcomes Southville’s Alumna, Isabelle Young

Southville’s homegrown alumna is headed to one of the world’s top-ranking universities, King’s College London in January 2019.

In 2016, Isabelle Young graduated at the top of her International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) class. Having taken IB Biology at Higher Level fostered her interest in the natural science, which only deepened at the university.

The Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) girl spikers retained the International Schools Activities Conference (ISAC) volleyball crown as they swept rival Cebu International School in two sets last October 17 at Brent International School – Subic.
