Southville is holding an exciting event where Expat Parents can learn and share their experiences raising children in the Philippines. As an academic community that nurtures learners to achieve and uphold academic and values excellence, Southville is committed to providing the highest-quality, national and international standards of education to all students. We recognize that expat families face distinct challenges and have created this event as a way for our community of expat learners, teachers, and families to share their insights.
Southville is already home to a diverse community of international students that we cherish and respect. By hosting an event just for Expat Parents called “Adaptation: How to help your Child Assimilate in the Philippines” on Sept. 21 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 pM in Southville’s Main Campus in Las Piñas City, we can offer opportunity for families new to the Philippines to learn from experts how to help their children grow and succeed in a new environment.
Featuring presentations by Southville’s International Baccalaureate Coordinator, Mr. John Wraith and Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities Associate International Education Specialist/Business Development Officer and Southville Expat Parent, Mrs. Arjumand Nageen Ahsan, this event will be a chance to share experiences between families and make new connections. We would be delighted if members of the Southville community could attend together with your expat friends. An open forum will be facilitated by our SGEN Communication Director, Mr. Daniel Steel.
