Parents Get Oriented with P.A.S.S.

The Portfolio Assessment for Southville International School and Colleges Students (P.A.S.S.) is a distinguishing feature of the school that aims to hone the students’ critical thinking skills as well as to develop their innate desire to explore answers to questions they have about themselves, their community, or their environment.

In line with the school’s thrust to foster strong school-home collaboration, an orientation regarding P.A.S.S. was held last July 1, 2011. Parents of graduating students from Grades 6 &7 and High School IV were given a head start on what the P.A.S.S. is all about. They were encouraged to give support to their children as this activity is a very good training to ensure the readiness of the students for the work demands of the next level. The P.A.S.S. is also expected to develop the students’ achievement drive, sense of responsibility, productivity, industry and excellence.
