Passionate and dedicated student leaders from Muntinlupa, Las Pinas and Paranaque will develop their leadership values, skills and competencies in the upcoming “Southern Leaders Summit 2012”, to be held on February 11 at Southville International School and Colleges.
Sponsored by the Asian Federation of Student Leaders (AFSL) in partnership with the TOSPAC (The Outstanding Students of the Philippines Alumni Community), a group that envisions the youth to participate in nation building, the 2012 summit aims to promote the principles of OPTIMISM, PROACTIVITY and INTEGRITY in LEADERSHIP.
With the theme, “MISSION I’M POSSIBLE: Leaders of the e-Generation”, this year’s summit aims to:
• develop leadership values, skills and competencies among the youth, realizing that they are the future movers of society;
• foster solidarity among the various student councils and their officers realizing that synergy accomplishes more than individual efforts;
• reinforce amongst youth leaders the ideals that they need to successfully surpass the challenges of a very competitive future; and
• inculcate social awareness, social responsibility, and social responsiveness among student leaders.
