Southville Student is Topnotcher in SBA Math Exam



Gabriel N. Aquino, a Grade 1 student of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), is a topnotcher in the Standards-Based Assessment (SBA) Math exam held last Academic Year 2011-2012. According to the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA) Inc., Aquino got the highest mean scaled ability score among 6,110 Grade 1 examinees.

With an approach far different from traditional assessment, the SBA evaluates students’ performance based on the required standards for a specific grade level rather than comparing it with other students. The SBA test measures student competencies in the core subject areas: English Language Arts, Mathematics and Science. [Read more]

A lot of people braved Typhoon Glenda for the first day of the blockbuster movie “She’s Dating the Gangster”starring teen actors Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. It was a day of fun and excitement last September 14, 2015 as Southville employees commemorated the school’s Silver Jubilee. Everyone was dressed in colorful outfits, matching the festive mood of the entire community. Southville’s Nursing Graduate places in Top 10 of June 2013 Nurse Licensure Exam



Gino Guerrero Rosales B.S., Nursing graduate from Southville International School and Colleges landed in the top 10 of this year’s Nurse Licensure Examination with a score of 84.80. Forty-one more students from Southville passed the said nursing board exam.

Southville crowns Mr. & Ms. Teen SGEN 2015



Last September 28, 2015, Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) held its annual Mr. & Ms. Teen Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) pageant that builds camaraderie and fosters school spirit among member schools. Supporters from participating schools namely SISC, South Mansfield College (SMC), Stonyhurst Southville International School (SSIS)—Batangas, and Stonyhurst Southville International School (SSIS)—Malarayat filled the Luxembourg Gym with cheers and thundering applause.
