Starting as a “Special School for the Intellectually Gifted” with only two students, Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) celebrates its 29th Founding Anniversary with gratitude to everyone who has joined its challenging, but a momentous journey of producing achievers and movers of society.
The recent academic year has brought Southville to greater heights with the recognitions received by its students, faculty, and staff locally and internationally. Among them are:
- Celebrated the success of the FIRST homegrown graduate to top the Philippine Bar Exam, Atty. Sean Borja
- Joined for the first time the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Tournament of Champions in Yale University with homegrown student Miguel Alzona recognized as the Top 1 Filipino Scholar
- Produced the Highest Scorer in SISC-International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme’s history with Hyo Sang Kwak
- Received GOLD Certification from Investors in People (IIP) until 2020
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified
Indeed, SISC’s success is reflected in the number of awards, honors, and accreditations its students and staff have earned throughout the years.
The Foundation Day itself is an exciting moment to look forward to as the school holds a Monarch’s Fair featuring fun-filled activities such as the Mr. and Ms. SISC 2019 in the College Division, the Monarch’s Got Talent for students and employees, and the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round featuring 150 schools from 28 countries all over the world. SISC will also give tribute to its Outstanding Alumni and Business Icon who made a significant difference in society.
