Monarchs continue to soar in international math contest

Continuing the school’s string of victories in international math contests, students from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) brought home awards from the heat  round of the 2022/23 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao  Greater  Bay  Area (Big Bay Bei) Mathematical Olympiad. Gabriel Dino of Gr.  3  – Peace emerged as the first prize winner in his level featuring delegates from many countries around Asia.

Bagging the second prize award was Jenica Beatrice Roque of Gr. 4 – Love while Joshua Jhonsonian Brakmore-Canterbury of Gr.1 – Newton, Hyorin Lee of Gr. 4 – Hope, and Subin Cho of Gr. 5 – Honesty received the third prize award. Earning the merit award was Audrey Maeve Javier of Gr. 3 – Faith from the annual competition organized by the Olympiad Champion Education Centre in Hong Kong.
