The Southville History Club just ended a great season. First, they proudly brought home seven awards. These came from the IAC Asian Championships in Thailand. Overall, the team showed strong academic skills on a global stage. In fact, they won big in both Geography and History.

Varsity Leaders at the IAC Asian Championships

Co-Captains Lucas Rodriguez and Ethan Pollard led this winning team. Together, they did great in the Varsity Division. Furthermore, they ruled the Geography Bee at the IAC Asian Championships. They easily took the top two spots for Southville.

Additionally, Lucas won a medal in the History Bee. Therefore, their joint leadership inspired the whole team. Also, Paolo Schroeter showed his deep knowledge. He proudly reached the Semifinals in the History Bee.

Middle School Division Wins

The Middle School group also won big. This clearly showed the deep talent in the team. For instance, Leira Costes took Seventh Place in the Geography Bee. Meanwhile, Aryan Verma took Fifth Place in the History Bee.

In addition, the students worked well together in the History Bowl. The Southville C team battled hard against tough rivals. Aryan Verma, Kent Togawa, Nikolai Eusebio, and Leira Costes made up this group. Ultimately, they earned a solid Fourth Place. This ended a tough two days at the IAC Asian Championships.

Proud Students and Community Support

Beyond that, other students joined the trip. Mumar Veluz, Alazar Sabal, and Alexander Dixon helped represent the school. Aaron Diesmos, Aira Diesmos, and Nathalia Kimora del Prado also went. Above all, they flew the school flag with pride. They showed great spirit during the IAC Asian Championships in Thailand

The school praises all the students. They showed amazing effort in a tough event. However, a team never wins alone. Because of this, we thank the team coach and the SLGE Department.

We also thank the very helpful parents. Truly, your guidance and loud cheers were the real keys to success. Finally, this big win is a proud moment for Southville. It perfectly ends another great contest season.
