Southville Museum to Showcase National Artist’s Works

Ayala Museum and Southville International School and Colleges, in collaboration with Ayala Foundation, Inc., the Javier Lacson Family and Ayala Corporation will present theBotong Francisco: A Nation Imagined Traveling Exhibit at Southville Museum from September 15-October 15, 2014.

The exhibit features 25 reproductions of National Artist for Painting Carlos “Botong” Francisco’s paintings from institutional and private collections. Accompanying these images is a film produced by Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI) and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Peque Gallaga on Botong’s vision and artistry.

Southville Museum, named “SISC Museum of the South”, launched three years ago, has showcased several local and international artists. Recently, the museum featured “BLAST FROM THE PAST” to showcase the growth of the digital era.
