Southville Tops Nursing Board, Records 100% Passing Rate

Southville International School & Colleges (SISC) BS Nursing Class of 2018 achieved a 100% passing rate while producing three topnotchers: Laurice Sobong, Katrina Dauden and Tamam Aburayyan. They were also recipients of academic as well as clinical honors during their graduation last May.

“We are very excited with the results of the Licensure exam, because it posed for us another challenge to face. We have to step up our game in the delivery of the upcoming BSN outcomes-based curriculum, not losing sight of our core vision to develop graduates to be world-class nurses with a  compassionate heart for service,” shares Dean Carmel Villegas.

“Successfully hurdling a licensure exam is just the beginning, what really matters is our graduates commitment to make a difference in the field of healthcare. I firmly hope that they will continue to aspire to serve as ambassadors of care, empathy and compassion, rising beyond technical competence and efficiency…to hopefully bring back self-regulation, ethics, value-based care to the profession of nursing.”

Southville remains the best performing nursing school south of Manila and has become the school of choice for a Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree. For the past years, SISC Nursing graduates have ventured across continents and are making their valuable mark in their professional careers.
