The SISC English Club (SEC) organized a book drive and several fundraisers to collect new and pre-loved books for delivery to a school that serves low-income neighborhoods. With the theme “Bringing the English Language Closer to the Youth through Book Giving,” the SEC held mufti days and movie nights to
raise funds, and placed donation bins around the campus for students to drop books in and participate in the cause. The donated books were recently turned over to the CAA National High School library to upgrade their collection. Acknowledgments to the following SEC officers and members who made a difference in the community: Jezzine Ocampo (SEC- President), Chrizel Gabriel (SEC-Vice President), Julia Riguera (SEC-Secretary), Chelsea Sarmiento (SEC-Public Relations Officer), Aarushi Tandon (SEC-Head of Membership), Bea Yutadco (SEC-Research Head), Matthew Mariano (SEC-Social Media Head), Chiara Peñera; (SEC-Graphics Head), Ryza Boco (SEC-SHS Representative), Sophia Nasser (SEC-JHS Representative), Athena Sullano, Dana Lim, Eun Song Choi, Kassandra Galing, Mariella Caco, Michaela Juliana Torio, Philipe Raferty Castellvi, Rob Orina, Marco Marasigan, Ryan Matthew Du, Sarah Lugod, and Sophia Marie Lausingco.
