Valuable Assets: Southville Accountancy students bag 4 awards from the NFJPIA-NCR division

Southville’s Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) has successfully hosted 3 events for the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) NCR- South District. For hosting the three events namely: Beyond the Student Life Webinar; The 5th SEED Cup, and Pinnacle: Leveraging Corporate Exposure, Southville’s JPIA was awarded the Diamond Host School of South District as all three events were proven to be a success. 

Mr. John Michael Maclalag was awarded the Flash award for accomplishing tasks and projects assigned to him in a swift but accurate manner. On the other hand, Southville JPIA’s President, Mr. Vincent Oliver O. Florencio, garnered three awards namely: the Diamond Spotlight in Camaraderie, for demonstrating leadership and friendship amongst other students and members across the JPIAns in NCR, the Beyond Call of Duty Award for consistently exceeding the expectations in their work responsibilities and requirements, and lastly the Most Outstanding Elfin Local Chapter President in the whole NFJPIA-NCR for exhibiting exemplary performance in his function as the head of the elfin local chapter.

The NFJPIA is one of the largest student organizations in the Philippines with over 66,000 members composed of accountancy and accounting-major-related students. The organization is known to gear towards the holistic development of its members and nurture their skills not just as students, but also as professionals in their respective fields.
