Two Grade School students from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) topped the Standards Based
Assessment (SBA) in English for Grade 2 last academic year. Getting perfect scores were Rymmel Renzo Macapagal of Gr. 3 – Courtesy and Japjot Singh of Gr. 3 – Wisdom who will be recognized in an awarding ceremony to be held on November 8, 2018 at the Bayview Park Hotel.

The College of Tourism is set to hold Tourism Expo 2018 on September 20 and 21, 2018.
With the theme “Transforming our World, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, the event will have Attorney Reynaldo L. Ching as keynote speaker and will feature various activities such as a Quiz Bee, Poster Making Contest and the Search for the Junior Ambassadors.

Kristner Sheyn Saludo of Gr. 5 – Loyalty won a gold medal in the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge conducted last July 6 – 9, 2018 before adding another gold in the World Math Invitational held in Seoul, South Korea last July 13 – 17, 2018. She also came home with a bronze medal from the 2018 Hua Long Geng
International Golden Cup Mathematics Competition done in Xiamen, China last August 10 – 14.

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Southville International School and Colleges (JPIA-SISC) chapter, held its annual JPIA Night on September 6, 2018 at the Luxembourg Gym of SISC.
JPIA Night is an annual event where the Accountancy students gather for one night and celebrate each other’s hard work in the course. True to its commitment of delivering excellence in its processes and systems, Southville International School and Colleges has successfully received the ISO 9001: 2015 Certification thru TUV Rheinland in its recent audit visit on September 3, 2018.
The auditing team is composed of Mr. Ramoncito Puyat, Ms. Jogina Mendiola, Ms. Michelle Pestañas and headed by Ms. Jean Laguitao of TUV Rheinland. The SISC International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program students for Academic Year 2018 – 2019 were warmly
welcomed by the IB officers and instructors in the orientation spearheaded by SISC IB Assistant Coordinator, Ms. Armie Ababa and the IB teachers and advisers.
The students were given a glimpse of the two-year IB program, governed by the Swiss-based International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), that requires IB students to take classes in six subjects, become proficient in a second language, do volunteer work, and undertake original research that results in a 4,000-word essay.
