Booklatin ang Kinabukasan Launched



The best gift that one can give to a child is the gift of learning.
Armed with the passion to address the decline in reading interests and literacy rates of school children, fourth year BS Nursing students of Southville International School and Colleges, under their Community Organizing Participatory Action Research (COPAR) subject, launched the “Booklatin ang Kinabukasan” Project which aims to promote literacy development through reading among the CAA Elementary School students in Las Piñas.

Southville International School And Colleges Shares The Secrets Of Successful Teachers



Las Piñas City – Southville International School and Colleges is hosting a public training open to all school teachers and administrators on the secrets of successful teachers every Saturday starting April 23 until May 21, 2016. The seminars and workshops organized by the Taylor Center for Professional Development (TCPD), a division of Southville that designs programs aimed at helping schools to deliver quality education and services.

Southville Students Shine in UN Simulation



The Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) Model United Nations (MUN) delegation returned from the 18th Model United Nations Assembly – Philippines with the top awards. Jee Seung Hong and Chloe Gian Jundez of Senior High School were named Best Delegate and Best Speaker, respectively, in the conference modelled on the format and function of the United Nations.

SGEN welcomes the holiday season with a lantern show



The Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) held a lantern show at the Alabang Town Center last December 4, 2015. All 7 SGEN schools namely Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), Southville International School affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU), South Seed-LPDH College (SSLC), South Mansfield College (SMC), Stonyhurst Southville International School (SSIS) – Batangas, Stonyhurst Southville International School (SSIS) – Malarayat, and SEED Academy participated in the competition for the best lantern. Southville students cop major awards in the search for T.O.P.S. 2015



The Top Outstanding Performing Students (T.O.P.S.) awarding ceremony recognized ten 4th year high school students from all over the country for exceptional performance in academic, leadership and co-curricular activities on March 20, 2015.

The T.O.P.S. selection procedure was indeed a challenge. Twenty other contenders were awarded Honorable Mention certificates. Notable Directors Take Part in Media Talk 2015



Well-known directors Louie Ignacio, Sigfreid Barros Sanchez, and Emmanuel Quindo Palo imparted their knowledge as resource speakers of this year’s Media Talk.

Media Talk: Beyond the Lens of Imagination was held last February 4, 2015 at the Luxembourg Gym. This is a collaborative project of 3rd year AB Communication students and 3rd & 4th year AB Multimedia Arts students for their classes in Media Management & Entrepreneurship, and Multimedia Business.
