Southville Monarchs Dominate 2014 AISAC



There was no stopping the SISC Monarchs in the 2014 Asian International Schools Activities Conference held last September 25-27.
The Boys Volleyball Team, Boys Football Team 1 and Girls Football Team won the championship while both Team 1 and Team 2 of Girls and Boys Basketball Team won 1st and 2nd runner up, respectively. The Girls Basketball Team, on the other hand, won 1st runner up.
“Our athletes trained really hard. They put so much effort in all the leagues we joined— it’s just really fulfilling to bring the trophy home,” shared Athletics Director Rea Celine Villa.

HS Junior’s photographs featured in int’l website



Hikaru Murakami of Grade 10 may not be good in sports or outstanding in the performing arts, but her photography skills have captured the hearts and approval of the editorial staff of Vogue Italia which published her photos, Sun Kissed and Two Sides, in Photo Vogue, the new website section of the magazine.

“I started photography when I was in Grade 8. I was amazed with the photos in Flckr and thought of doing it myself. I grabbed my dad’s SLR and the rest is history,”shares Hikaru on how she developed her passion in photography.

Southville Student Secures Post at JPCS National Board



Diana Navarro a senior of Southville International School & Colleges as well as Student Adviser for the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – SISC Chapter was elected as Director for International linkages of the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) National Board of Officers elections during the annual JPCS – Leadership Transformation Workshop and Election 2013 held at the Global City Innovative College in Makati City recently.

Southville Welcomes December with Lantern Parade and Musical Play Competition



The Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) grounds will be lit by a procession of colorful Christmas lanterns as the school celebrates its annual Lantern Parade on December 3, 2012, 6:00 pm, in Luxembourg Campus.

Southville Officers Attend Red Cross Youth Induction Camp 2012



The Philippine Red Cross – Las Pinas Subchapter with the Red Cross Youth Advisers League recently conducted the 1st RCY (Red Cross Youth) Induction Camp inside the grounds of the Mary Immaculate Parish – Nature’s Church located in Moonwalk Village, Las Pinas City. Southville Launches Programs for Gifted Students



MALACA (Mental ability, Academic achievement, Leadership, Athletics, Creativity, Arts) is Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) concept of student giftedness.  Founded in 1990 as a school for the gifted, SISC has made a commitment to develop learners whose knowledge levels surpass that of their peers in other academic institutions.

Hashtag Wins Southville Business Plan Competition



Emerging entrepreneurs Ethelbirth Ignacio III, Juan Miguel Antonio de Leon IV, and Dan Allen Lomeda, all Southville BS Entrepreneurship students hurdled first in the recently held Business Plan Competition sponsored by the College of Business and Tourism.
Their business, HASHTAG, allows clients to express their creativity and passion through designing their own shirts which the company will print using top of the line materials.

Songwriter Places in International Tilt



Juan Antonio Tuason of HS III-Patriotism was recognized as one of the semi-finalists in the 2011 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). His song “California” was chosen out of 16,000 entries coming from 115 countries around the world.
