In line with its mission to develop qualified graduates who are responsive to the needs of a highly competitive business environment, the College of Business Education and Tourism (CBET) announced the offering of a new program Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology effective School Year 2015 – 2016. Southville IT Majors Join National Workshop



The Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS_ recently held a Leadership Transformation Workshop and Elections (LTWE) at The Manila Ocean Park, Luneta, Manila. Representing the JPCS-SISC Chapter were Miguel Antonio Ventura (President), Kristine Lopez (VP for Internal Affairs), Diana Navarro (VP for External Affairs), Schenine Tan (Secretary), Joy Lingaya (4th Year Level Representative), and JPCS adviser Mr. Jun Mendoza along with the Dean of Information Technology, Ms. Lynne Abanil.

Field Trips Enrich Classroom Learning



The Outdoor Educational Program (OEP) is intended to optimize the learning of the students by making them appreciate the interconnectedness between the different subject areas and real-life experiences. The highlight of this year’s OEP are the cultural shows “Little Women” and “Sleeping Beauty” for high school and grade school respectively, tree planting and nature trips in Clark and Subic, and guided tours of the Museum of Natural History and Rizal Shrine.

Abby Ousts 60 Plus Golfers



Winning for the zillionth time, Abegail Arevalo, a grade five student of Southville International School and Colleges, has proven once again her golf prowess as she ranked 17th in the recent Callaway Golf Junior World Golf Championships held on July 14-17, 2009.

Abby who started playing golf at age 3 ousted around 60 participants coming from USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, China, Japan and other Asian countries.

SOUTHVILLE – BS TOURISM STUDENTS CONQUERS THE 10TH ANNUAL NATIONAL TOURISM STUDENTS’ CONGRESS



Southville-BS Tourism student Pauline Gonzales won the Filipiniana Pageant hosted by the Union of Filipino Tourism Educators and Students Congress’ at Treston International College, Bonifacio Global City last February 27, 2016.

Southville students Fritz Bautista and Andrea Alcantara also won third place in International Package Tour Competition.

The event is related to the celebration of the Union of Filipino Tourism Educators, Incorporated’s 10th Annual National Tourism Students’ Congress with the theme of “Tourism for All: Promoting Universal Accessibility.” Various events were conducted such as Poster Making Competition, Domestic and International Package Tour Competitions participated by 20 colleges and universities.

Employees and scholars of the Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) and its sister school Southville Foreign University (SFU) extended their collective hand to realize the objective of this year’s “Southville for Others” held at Barangay C.A.A., Las Piñas City last October 4, 2013.
