Southville Places 4th in 2014 EdukCircle Docu Fest

Given barely two weeks of preparation for the competition in an unlikable weather, Team Southville composed of Communication and Multimedia Arts Students Arthessa Bola, Mark Castillo, Bea Dela Cruz, Jay Gurbuxani, Rhenessa Lacerna, Danica Jelina Rayos, Christel Reyes, Wilhelmina Zara, Ren De Guzman and James Ocampo, placed fourth in the 2014 2014 EdukCircle Documentary Film held last year.

With the theme Media and Politics: Reporting the Philippines’ Recent Biggest Political Scandals, the competition was sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and was held to evaluate the communication practices in different academic fields.

Southville Math Genius off to National finals

Gen Mark Tanno of Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) International Baccalaureate Diploma Program hurdled the area stage of the Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) to advance to the National Finals of the oldest and most prestigious math competitions among public and private high school students in the country.


As one of the twenty qualifiers for the National Finals, Gen Mark will have the chance to be a part of the Philippine Team that will represent the country in the 56th International Math Olympiad (IMO) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Second Run: Parenting Seminar

It has been said that family plays a very important role in developing one’s behavior and personality thus building a good family relationship is essential in molding an individual. Southville International School and Colleges – INNOVE Education Solution alumna Abegail Arevalo is the rising superstar of the San Jose State University Golf Team. In her school’s latest foray, Abby finished 6th out of 45 contenders, and 1st in her school’s golf roster, in the Mountain West Conference Championship last April 18-20, 2016.

I walked into the Lux Hall on that very Saturday, still pretty hung up on the last few minutes (or hours) of sleep I could have gotten if I didn’t have to attend CAS. Maestro Arnel de Pano Teaches Choral Music to SISC Students in Open Workshop

Music lovers got a first taste of what it means to sing and perform choral music from no less than Maestro Arnel de Pano in an Open Choral Workshop held at the Southville International Schools and Colleges on January 24.

The workshop, titled “I Love Music,” had Maestro Arnel teaching the basic elements of the art to college students. Southville’s Golf Whiz emerges as victor in PHL Girls – Junior Golf Championship

Abby Arevalo, a Basic Education student of Southville International School and Colleges triumphed in the recent 2013 Pondok Indah Junior Golf Championship in Jakarta Indonesia. Arevalo won second place via courtback over Thailand’s Rojanapeansatith. ICTSI – Philippines placed 1st in the team championships with a score of 440 (148-152-140), with Thailand scoring at 443 (150-138-155) and Indonesia at 473 (161-157-155).
