Southville International School and Colleges Launches Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Application Specializations



Recognizing how technology plays a vital role in today’s society, Southville International School and Colleges is offering two additional tracks in its BS Information Technology program starting school year 2018-2019: Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Applications.

Students majoring in Mobile Apps will learn how to design and host mobile apps good for gaming, entertainment, and productivity while students majoring in AI will tackle real-world projects such as handwriting/speech recognition and stock trading with neural networks.

Creative Professionals Review Student Art for Exhibit



MARCH 2, 2018— in preparation for their external exhibit, the fourth-year students of Multimedia Arts presented their proposed artworks to a panel of creative practitioners at the Lecture Room of the Media Center. The exhibit’s theme, human trafficking, required the students to express their awareness on the issue through various media. The presentation included photos, illustrations, video productions, and sculptures.

Our Asian Hospital Nursing Clinical Experience



We had the privilege to spend the last three weeks (Feb. 19 – Mar. 7, 2018) of our clinical rotation in one of the five Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospitals in the Philippines, Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC). We are the pioneer batch of student nurses who were allowed to have our hospital duties there – we made history in both SISC Nursing and AHMC.

Viktor Frankl, a Holocaust survivor and Austrian neurologist, often quotes, “He who has a why can bear any how.” On the 13th of March, 2018, Southville held a Meet and Greet event with actress, and Psychology student, Jodi Sta. Maria. Having graduated high school from Southville’s INNOVE program in 2010, the actress later on, in 2017, started studying Psychology in Southville Colleges. Committed to promote, develop and advance awareness and knowledge of capital market and entrepreneurship and their role in the development of the national economy, Southville Global Education Network hosted the 2017 SGEN Stock Market Challenge through Investagrams last October 16 to February 9, 2018.
