“When he got back from school, he asked me if he could spend the money he got last Christmas to buy rice, medicine, diapers, milk, and canned goods,” shared the parent of five-year-old Julian Marius Hermano, a Senior Kinder student at Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) to support the school’s relief efforts for the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption.

SUKEN (SUgaku KENtei) ,established in Japan in 1988, hails the first Filipino to meet and pass the highest level from the Philippines for the World Mathematics Certification Program. At 10th grade, Gwyneth Margaux “Gwyn” G. Tangog  is the first and youngest Filipino student who passed the Pre-1st  Kyu (level) examination, open to both students and professionals of any age worldwide. SOUTHVILLE Receives Awards from PACUCOA

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) received awards for its achievements which includes the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) and the grant of the Autonomous Status during the 46th Founding Year of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commision on Accreditation (PACUCOA).

This year, 163 Colleges and Universities were invited with Southville as the only international institution recognized by a Philippine law R. A. 9493 among the attendees. New members of the PACUCOA Board of Directors were also elected alongside the ratification of amendments to the PACUCOA Constitution and By Laws Online.

Two competitive delegates from Southville International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme Division hold firm of the Top 1 Filipino Scholar spot at the World Scholar’s Cup in Yale University. Just last year, Miguel Dominico Alzona was the first to receive the said award from Southville delegation. This year, Dalton Mojica secured the same title besting Filipino delegates who also joined in the tournament. Mojica exceeded the expected level of performance by obtaining the most number of medals and trophies as a new member of the Southville delegation – from Manila Rounds, Global Rounds, and the Tournament of Champions.

Southville Receives 175 Medals at World Scholar’s Cup in YALE

Southville International School and Colleges’ delegates bagged 83 GOLD and 92 SILVER medals at the 2019 World Scholar’s Cup – Tournament of Champions held in YALE UNIVERSITY besting last year’s haul of 66 GOLD and 43 SILVER medals. The tournament was participated in by close to 2,000 scholars, from 630 schools from 60 countries worldwide. 

This year, there were 35 delegates who represented Southville in the Scholar’s Bowl, Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, and Team Debate. Southville MA Psychology Pioneer Graduates Bag 100% Passing Rate in Boards

Southville Psychology Division celebrates the conjoint success of the newly licensed psychometricians and psychologists from undergraduate and graduate levels. The BS Psychology (BSP) Division scored above the national passing rate which has further increased this year while the MA Psychology (MAP) Division debuted at a hundred passing rate attained by its pioneer graduates, class of 2019.
