The Southville College of Nursing is excited to welcome its students and faculty back on campus approved and endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). November 29, 2021 marks the start of the final term of the 1st semester with BSN III and IV who will be grouped in scheduled sessions to do their OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) like a nursing skills audit.  The initial trial is only for skills audit/assessment of the first semester, said Dean Carmel Villegas, of the College of Nursing.

Years before Jomalig Island in Quezon Province became a popular tourist destination and was named the Hidden Paradise of the Pacific, a group of AB Communication students from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) already featured the island in their 2019 public relations campaign entitled “Halina sa Jomalig: a Public Relations Campaign for Jomalig Island”.

Southville College of Business Thrives at Local and International Competitions

Students from Southville College of Business welcomed the first quarter of AY 2021-2022 with recognitions and awards obtained from the ASEAN Students for Future Sustainable Leaders (ASFSL) and the 15th Search for the Best Business Idea (BIDA) under the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). Southville received a certificate of recognition being one of the Top 11 finalists at ASFSL and scored the second and third place spots at BIDA respectively.

The only Philippine Team finalist made up by Southville BS Entrepreneurship students recently won at the ProVeg International , a non-government organization domiciled in Germany with four country offices respectively in Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. 2019 SEA Games Golf GOLD Medalist (Women’s Team Event) and Southville homegrown alumna Abegail “Abby” Arevalo has finally reached the professional level for GOLF finishing TOP 1 in a Runway Fashion held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Arevalo finished by 11 strokes at the Stallion Mountain Championship of the Cactus Tour posting one of the highest victory counts on record. She has represented the Philippines against Sweden, England, Arizona, Hawaii, California, and Las Vegas.
