Southville MA Psychology Pioneer Graduates Bag 100% Passing Rate in Boards

Southville Psychology Division celebrates the conjoint success of the newly licensed psychometricians and psychologists from undergraduate and graduate levels. The BS Psychology (BSP) Division scored above the national passing rate which has further increased this year while the MA Psychology (MAP) Division debuted at a hundred passing rate attained by its pioneer graduates, class of 2019. MAP is one of the first set of graduate programs launched by Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) in 2017 attended by various professionals from different industries while the BSP Division has been maintaining its highly-rated board exam performance since 2016.

“Save Thy Mother Earth,” the Little Monarchs Uttered

The Early Childhood Education (ECED) students from Munich and Star Campuses shine a light on the most pressing environmental concerns that affect us all during the 2019 Cultural Show. The little Monarchs from Nursery to Senior Kinder wore colorful ensembles and danced and sang their way into the heart and mind of their audience as a way of saving Mother Earth. In the process, they also displayed what they learn in school which is the 5Cs (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Commitment to Achieve, Creativity).

Southville Achieves Highest TOEIC Proficiency Rating in Eight Years

The College Division of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) posted the highest language proficiency rating for Academic Year 2018-2019 besting nine other higher education institutions in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Laguna. This is also its highest rating since 2011, the year when students first started taking the examinations. The average mean score for the 468 test takers was pegged at 819/990 or an equivalent of B2 Upper Intermediate Proficiency Level in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages. The CEFR is an international standard for measuring English Language Proficiency.

Mr. Jude Russel Cuntapay made it to the list of bright young leaders set to leave for Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Spring 2019, April of this year. YSEALI, an Academic Fellowship Program sponsored by the U.S. government was launched in 2013 merging Asian nations promoting diplomacy and stronger ties among Asiatic young leaders from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. Ninth Grader Aces Math Certification Contest

A Grade 9 student from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) passed the Suken Certification Test administered by the Mathematics Certification Institute of Japan. Gwyneth Margaux Tangog of Gr. 9 – Compassion passed the 2nd Kyu level which is meant for Grade 11 students. The Suken exam has 12 certification levels called Kyus with the 1st Kyu for college graduates being the highest.

SISC Announces New President

Southville International School and Colleges has appointed Ms. Jocelyn P. Tizon as acting president to advance the mission and vision of the school. Ms. Tizon graduated cum laude with a degree in Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics at Siliman University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from American City University, Masters in International Hospitality Management at the Lyceum of the Philippines (2012), and is finishing a PhD in Management from the Lyceum of the Philippines, bringing to the position nineteen years of experience in senior leadership at SISC.
