Southville College Admission for Second Semester Ongoing

Southville Holds Battle of the Bands



The Battle of the Bands is a pop / rock band competition for Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) schools, which allows the contestants to play alongside other winners from the different campuses.

 

The event gives young musicians a chance to represent their school, perform on stage in front of a great crowd, work with sound and stage professionals, and win some great prizes!

 

The battle takes place on September 28, 2012, 6:00 pm, at the Monarchs Gym of Luxembourg Campus.  Tickets are available at the gate before the show. [Read more]

SISC Sponsors Seminar on Positive Discipline for Caregivers



As part of Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) thrust to strengthen school and home collaboration, the Preschool and Grade School Departments will conduct a free seminar for caregivers and drivers of Preschool to Grade 4 students on Positive Discipline, Developing Children Potentials.

 

This will be held on July 14, 2012, Saturday, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., at the Cares Cafeteria of Munich Campus. Parents Get Orientation about PASS Research



The Portfolio Assessment for Southville International School and Colleges Students (PASS) is a distinguishing feature of the school that aims to hone the students’ critical thinking skills through a research paper and oral defense.

College of Business Dean and Southville Director for Public Relations Dr. Jerry Aguilar joined US Ambassador Harry Thomas, US Embassy officials, foreign ambassadors and dignitaries, the American Association of the Philippines, major service commanders of the AFP, DND officials, and the Veteran’s Federation of the Philippines in the recently held US Memorial Day at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.

Seniors Attend Comprehensive Growth Series



The high school graduating class of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) had its Batch Comprehensive Growth Series (CGS) last January 18 – 20, 2012 with the theme “Moving On: Making a Difference”. The seniors took three days away from the campus at a Covenant and Retreat House in Cavite to reflect on their collective experience at SISC and bond as a class.

Southville conducts Medical and Dental Mission for public school children



Southville International School and Colleges held their annual Poor Urban Children (Pouch) Medical Mission last April 2, 2016 at the Luxembourg Campus clinic. The event started with the registration of participants, followed by breakfast and vital statistics (V/S) monitoring. Afterwards, the medical and dental facilitators classified the participants whether they were for medical or dental checkup. A dentist and a physician conducted the examinations for the children.

To keep the participants healthy and strong, medicines were distributed after the medical and dental examinations. Before the event ended, games were played to entertain and give happiness to the public school children. … [Read more]

Southville holds SOLID Career Quest



A day packed with fun activities welcomed Grade 10 students from schools in the Las Pinas and Paranaque areas who attended the SOLID Career Quest last November 12, 2015. The event presented Southville International School and Colleges’ strands for Grades 11 and 12 as well as the various course offerings for college. Attendees were also provided with more information about the ASEAN integration, which led to their full understanding of the subject matter.
