Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint



The AB Communication IV students held their final outreach for their Integrated Marketing Communication subject on September 4, 2015. The venue was in Computer Lab 1. The topic is all about Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation.

The participants had their lunch in the School of the Future (SOF) before they began with their educational activities. Afterwards, they headed down to Comp Lab 1 for the lessons.

Southville Welcomes Freshies With “College Freshmen Day”



Southville International School and Colleges gave freshmen a warm welcome as they enter a new school life.

With the theme “Oldies but Goodies” the welcome party featured performances from famous exciting Broadway show events like “Wizard of Oz,” “The King and I, ” “Sound of Music,” “Hairspray,” “Mamma Mia,” Grease” and “Phantom of the Opera.” The College of Psychology received accolades for its Phantom Performance receiving the Best Presentation Award.

Southvile Monarchs Receive International Recognition



Two Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) students received high distinction certificates in the 2012 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) in Mathematics. Gen Mark Tanno (Grade 9) and Terrence Patrick Cabana (Grade 3) managed to be in the top 1percent of the said event.

AASHPI Holds 10th National Convention



With the theme, “HR Proactive Strategies during Challenging Times: A Decade of HR Value-Added Strategies and Innovation”, the Asian Association of School Human Resource Management Development Practitioners (AASHPI) held its 10th National AASHPI Convention last August 26-28, 2009 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu.  More than 150 school owners, deans, academic heads, educators, and HR practitioners participated in the event.

Psychology Day Highlights Camaraderie and Sportsmanship



The much awaited annual celebration of Psychology Day in Southville International School and Colleges was held last January 28, 2016. The program started with the opening ceremony featuring picture taking per year level, and the oath taking of the newly appointed Psychology Society officers.

The top 5 Psychology students who received certificates of recognition for the 1st semester of Academic Year 2015-2016 were Josefina Garcia from 2nd year, Angela Canales, Clark Chua, and Monika Mayugba from 3rd year, and Regine Flores from the graduating batch. Psychology Society joins SISC’s 25th Year Anniversary



The Psychology Society and its members were active and enthusiastic participants in Southville International School and Colleges 25th Anniversary celebration. First, the organization successfully operated its carnival-themed booth that attracted several visitors, and helped it raise more funds for its future plans this Academic Year. Second, the Psychology students formed their cheering squad as they participated in the college’s first ever Cheer Dance Competition. After a series of late night practices for almost a month, the Psychology Department’s cheering squad placed 2nd against other participating courses. College programs gain PACUCOA formal accreditation
