Southville BS Psychology Graduates Conquer the Psychometrician Licensure Exams



September 9, 2016 – Seven graduates of the BS Psychology Class 2016 of Southville International School and Colleges passed the recent August 2016 Psychometrician Licensure Examination as per the official results release by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Psychology (BoP).

IC Bersaba, Angelica Bonuan, Regine Flores, Elaine La Cuesta, Khrizia Parco, Kerry Requierro, Mary Jhossan Sonico of Class 2016 are now certified Psychometricians who will surely make a difference in the society.

Southville College of Nursing Honors a New Achiever

Southville Advocates Student Entrepreneurship through the 1st Entrep Boot Camp



In advocacy of instilling the spirit of Entrepreneurship in the hearts and minds of the students, Southville International School and Colleges held the 1st Entrep Boot Camp at the Multi Purpose Hall of the school’s Tropical Campus last August 18 – 20, 2016.

The Entrep Boot Camp is a three-day seminar-workshop designed to orient students in generating, developing, and evaluating ideas to launch innovative and viable new products. Various tools and techniques were introduced that allowed the participants to “develop and construct” new products which were presented before a panel of judges on the third day.

Southville Student Hosts the First Speedcubing Competition in Las Piñas



Southville International School and Colleges hosted the first ever Speedcubing competition in Las Piñas at the Multiple Purpose Hall last April 3, 2016.

The event called Las Piñas Open 2016 @ SISC was attended by 80 contestants and held several events such as the Rubiks Cube, 4×4 Cube, 5×5 Cube, 6×6 Cube, 7×7 Cube, 3×3 Cube Blindfolded, Pyraminx, and Skewb recognized by the World Cube Association and Philippine Cubers Association, the world and national governing body of Speedcubing.

SISC Hosts 19th HS Commencement Exercises



April 4, 2016 – Southville International School and Colleges hosted the 19th High School Commencement Exercises at the Luxembourg Hall, Las Piñas City, for Grades 11 and 12.

The graduation ceremony awarded the graduating class of 2016 with their high school diploma and recognized Loyalty and Perfect Attendance, PASS, Values Excellence, Sen. Manny Villar Excellence, Athlete of the Year, AFSL, MUN Coaching and Public Speaking, Junior Ambassador of Peace, Academic Subjects and the Honors awardees with medals and certificates.

F3: FILM, FASHION, AND FORUM



In celebration of Southville’s 25th Foundation, the Communication and Multimedia Arts programs held F3: Film, Fashion, and Forum held at the Event Center in Alabang Town Center last February 12, 2016 featuring two speakers from the film industry. The first was Artemio Abad, a Creative Director, discussed about his experiences in the film industry and the different kinds of success he experienced while pursuing his passion. Director Cathy Garcia-Molina, although not present, had a representative named Sharon Villaluz, a voice dubber. Southville Senior Prep Students Amaze Crowd

Southville volleybelles claim double victory



The Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) girls’ volleyball team collected double success with a championship in the 2015 Asian International Schools Activities Conference (AISAC), and a first runner-up finish in the International Schools Activities Conference (ISAC).

The AISAC tournament was held at the Global Jaya International School in Jakarta, Indonesia last September 30 – October 3, 2015, while the ISAC volleyball meet took place in SISC last October 7 – 11, 2015 featuring the top international schools in the country.

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) will be participating in the highly prestigious Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) International Award.
