The Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) Model United Nations (MUN) delegation returned from the 8th International Model United Nations Conference in Beijing, China with the top awards as the only Philippine representative. The US-based Educational Testing Service (ETS), developer of the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) test, recently certified SISC educators Phi Anh De Castro, Josephine dela Peña, and Ailene Fulgencio as TOEIC PROPELL instructors and English ambassadors. Southville high school alumna Ma. Charmaine Dayupay represented the Philippines in the National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference held at Olomouc, Czech Republic last November 22-28, 2015. Representing the country of Estonia, Charmaine won “Honorable Mention Delegate. Among the estimated 16,000 students, she was one of the 18 delegates chosen to participate in the event from her university. On March 20-24, Charmaine will again represent the Philippines and her school in the NMUN-NY.
